Dr. Gingras is double-board certified in sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Medical Subspecialties-Sleep Medicine. Gingras Sleep Medicine’s locations in Charlotte and Concord both include an on-site sleep lab in a comfortable, home-like setting. Dr. Gingras offers a particular depth of experience in pediatric sleep evaluations. Along with her board certifications in sleep medicine, she is board-certified in pediatrics, with more than 20 years of experience in that field. She is also board-certified in neonatal/perinatal medicine, having evaluated hundreds of preterm and term infants for sleep apnea and SIDS monitoring.
Dr. Gingras has built and directed two pediatric sleep programs in the Charlotte area and an infant sleep apnea center. She has presented research abstracts at national meetings and has served as invited faculty at dozens of conferences. Her original research studies are published in prestigious peer-reviewed international journals and three book chapters.
She has also held faculty appointments at Duke University, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Prior to founding Gingras Sleep Medicine, she worked for another sleep medicine center in Charlotte.
Gingras Sleep Medicine is located at 6207 Park South Road, Suite 101 in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, and at 248 LePhillip Court in Concord. The practice accepts all forms of insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Many patients pay only a co-pay for services. Payment plans are available.
